Same here!!!!! This will be the next game in the series that I refuse to buy. On a brighter note, I will be suporting RE REVELATIONS with a purchase.
Game of the year so far in my book too. Waiting to see how Bioshock turns out.
Kinda funny, but I'm currently in the middle of playing Final Fantasy 9 on my VITA, Metal gear Solid 3 on my Vita and Tomb Raider reboot on the PS3. A game from each generation.
And NO, I'm not a Playstation fanboy, I also have my 360 and WII U which I also play regularly. I just happen to be playing all Sony at the moment. :)
This game is a gem to play. Whether your an old Tomb Raider fan such as myself who has played them all or someone new to the franchise, this is a game that sets the bar high and I hope the developers are praised for it. Crystal Dynamics have breathed new life into a franchise that even I have to admit was beginning to turn stale. Lara is back and in stunning fashion and I personally am enjoying the hell out of this new game.
Look out for WarThunder"s incoming post and...
@WarThunder
You are so far off on your criticism on this game its not even funny. I've seen a bunch of your comments about this game in other threads and your feeble attempts at trying to bash it and must now say that you sir are an ass hat which does not know what the hell he is talking about.
It also takes me alot longer to finish games than most people because I too like to explore every inch and see and find all that a game has to offer. I never understood rushing through a game just to beat it and move on to the next if your not truely taking it all in. (I know that many will argue that they are taking it all in while rushing through at the same time, but I will disagree.) I'll even just walk around looking at the backdrops sometimes if the game allows it. In Tomb Raider...
what kind of bugs. I've been playing for 4 hours and have yet to see or find a single bug. Especially 1 that is game breaking.
Now that would be a perfect game IMO. Even if one of them just made a cameo in the others game would just be perfect. I can just imagine the bantering back and forth between the two.
Both are strolling through some jungle tomb looking for the same artifact when they happen upon each other.
Nathan: Hey, Who the Hell are you, and on second thought, why haven't I ever met you before.
Lara( in her British voice) : I'm Lara, Lara Croft....
I personally think your crazy. the new TR has IMO surpassed the Uncharted series in terms of graphics. Don't get me wrong, Uncharted ( and I've played them all, even Golden Abyss) looks fantastic but has very over saturated colors. Tomb Raider IMO is a bit more realistic in the color palette and the detail is just as good if not better than the Uncharted games. Animation of the characters is fantastic and it's the little details that surround you that make this really a gem. (...
Absolutely an Amazing game. The visuals are top notch and as I said in a previous post, IMO they out do the stunning visuals in the Uncharted series which to me seem very over saturated. The attention to detail is beyond words. And the voice acting as well as the musical score are fantastic and spot on. Lara's new look is gorgeous. Gameplay wise, every control feels tight and not overy complicated. I also love the fact that it is not an open world game per say but feels like it just ...
@BXbomber
I personally think your crazy. I also have played every Uncharted title including the Golden Abyss and Graphically speaking, I believe TR has trumped it. Don't get me wrong, the Uncharted series is top notch and some of the best graphics i've every seen in a game but they are way over saturated IMO. The level of detail is top notch in both Titles but is a bit more realistic in the New TR game. Either way though, I love both series. I have followed Tomb R...
No hate from me. I personally liked it the best out of the PS1 Trilogy.
If I was to rank them from 7 on, (and this is just my opinion) it woulds go something like this;
FF 10 tied with FF Tactics
FF 8
FF 7
FF 12
FF 9
FF 10-2
FF 13
FF 13-2
Like I said, only my opinion. Many will disagree and that's fine too.
LOL, Resident Evil 6 is now down to the same price as LaLaLoopsie, Carnival of Friends. LOL Right where it belongs. I think I might finally pick it up for that price. Then again, maybe I'll wait till it hits 9.99$. Shouldn't be too long.
I want Dead Space 1 gameplay in the Resi Mansion. Remake RE1 again with prerendered visuals again. They could make the damn thing look real now!!!! (Sorry, that has been a dream of mine for about17 years now)
I played that game and have fond memories of it. It was pretty good. Just like the older resi games. I believe it was one of the first gen games for the PS2.
I am also 39 and am loving this game. I was thinking the same thing about it reminding me of the old RPG's that we all used to love. The best thing is that my 8 year old son is also loving this game. He'll go ahead of me and then I will play at night after all my kids(4) have gone to bed and I'll get a little ahead of him. I like to help him out but the best part is seeing the excitement in his face when he discovers something new in the game. He comes running to tell me. :) ...
I know mine isn't in trouble, I love that little guy! :)
I hear this is a good one that solves all of the games glitches and problems. It erases your disc and rewrites it with the code for the Remake of RE1 from the gamecube. It's about damn time. Finally they listened to the fans.
It's about to go the way of Resident Evil. All over the top action and no heart. I wouldn't be surprised if they added a DYNAMIC ROUND HOUSE KICK to your arsenal. Well, another one of my favorite series' I believe has just been tossed in the toilet. God do I hope I'm wrong. With Resident Evil out of the picture, I'm holding on to hope that they don't F-up Dead Space and the Souls franchises.
I just downloaded this a week ago on steam and its fantastic. Hard as hell but fantastic. The world transformations are a thrill to watch every time. Sometimes I just flip back and forth to see how the objects morph.
